Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to us, and we wish to hear both compliments and constructive criticism. Any complaints can be discussed via the branch manager who will do their upmost to resolve the difficulty. On the rare occasion that a dispute should remain, our internal complaint procedure will be fully explained to you and, of course, Thirlwells are members of the Ombudsman for Estate Agents Scheme. Please be assured that the partners and staff value our customers highly and endeavour to offer the best possible service available.

FAQ

What are your terms of business?
Our fees are always competitive, and both our staff and valuers are happy to discuss the various packages we have to offer. We are more than happy to carry out a free, no obligation valuation of your property, and to discuss your individual requirements.

What happens if I change my mind about selling?
In the unlikely event of you withdrawing your property from our agency we would look to you to re-imburse press advertising, authorised by you, together with a modest withdrawal charge.

How is my property advertised?
All our branches are linked via a sophisticated computer system, with the facility to present your property to the widest market place. We utilise digital photography, eye catching For Sale boards, and exclusively use colour press advertising. All branches are in prominent high street positions, with modern display facilities.

Does it cost extra to go on the Internet?
No. By instructing Thirlwells, your property will be displayed on not only our own website, but that of Rightmove and Fish4Homes, completely free of charge.

How do I know that you will get the best price for my property?
The partners of Thirlwells believe that we have a winning combination to maximise the achievable price for your property. Having practised in the area for almost thirty years, we pride ourselves on the level of expertise of both our experienced valuers and sales negotiators. As recognised market leaders, we have a huge database of comparative information, together with a significant computerised applicants mailing register, containing several thousand potential buyers.

The terms of the contract do not affect your statutory rights.
